Chicken and Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp butter divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated

Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little butter and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides. Cook until done, then remove from the skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the cream, stirring well to combine with the garlic, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Add grated parmesan cheese to the sauce. Stir until it melts and combines well, then return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce before serving.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Pairs well with steamed vegetables, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
