Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Melt butter and peanut butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth
  • Combine melted mixture with brown sugar in a bowl
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined
  • Grease 8x8 inch baking pan and pour batter into it
  • Bake for 25-28 minutes until golden and toothpick is clean
  • Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then cut into 9-12 pieces

Notes

Use dark brown sugar for deeper flavor
Add chocolate chips or nuts for extra texture
Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days
