  • 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts Use either thighs or breasts based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup honey Can adjust amount for sweetness preference.
  • 1/4 cup butter Unsalted butter is preferred.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • to taste chopped green onions for garnish Adds color and mild flavor.

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the honey, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and coated in the honey butter sauce, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Cool the chicken to room temperature before storing. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently to avoid burning the sauce.
