Dough Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
  • Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

Kneading

  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10-15 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

First Rise

  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.

Creating the Cinnamon Filling

  • In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to make the filling.
  • Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  • Spread a generous layer of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
  • Roll up the dough tightly, starting from one end.

Baking Your Cinnamon Bread

  • Slice the rolled dough into equal portions and place them in a greased baking pan.
  • Cover the pan with a cloth and let the rolls rise for an additional 30-45 minutes.
