  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce Adds moisture and flavor.
  • 1 tsp Oregano For seasoning.
  • 1 tsp Thyme For seasoning.
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper For seasoning.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, grated Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs. Mix until evenly distributed.
  • In a separate pan, sauté finely chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and fragrant. Allow to cool before adding to the meat mixture.
  • Add beaten eggs, tomato sauce, and herbs and spices to the meat mixture. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

Cooking

  • Transfer the meat mixture onto a baking sheet or loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Bake the meatloaf in a preheated oven until golden brown and cooked through, about 60 minutes.

Serving

  • Allow the meatloaf to rest for a few minutes before slicing it.
  • Slice the meatloaf and serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of tomato sauce.

Notes

Use high-quality, freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor. Be cautious not to overmix the meat mixture to avoid a dense texture. Resting after baking ensures it's juicy and tender.
