Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef, adding salt and pepper to taste. Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat, and add the sliced mushrooms. Cook them until they become soft and tender.
- Combine the minced garlic, seasoning salt, chopped fresh parsley, and additional pepper to taste with the mushrooms. Stir and cook for a few more minutes to let the flavors meld.
- In a food processor or blender, blend together the softened cream cheese and large eggs until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the cooked ground beef, spreading it evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer the sautéed mushrooms on top of the meat mixture.
Baking
- Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until it’s heated through and slightly bubbly.
