Preparation

  • Lightly grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • In a large heatproof bowl, assemble the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, chopped chocolate, and butter.

Melting Process

  • Create a makeshift double boiler by placing the heatproof bowl over a saucepan with simmering water.
  • Stir the mixture consistently for around 8 minutes until it transforms into a smooth and velvety consistency.

Setting the Fudge

  • Transfer the melted fudge mixture into the prepared pan using a sturdy spatula, ensuring a smooth top.
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top if desired.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is set.

Serving
