  • 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

For the chocolate coating

  • 1 pound chocolate almond bark

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and peppermint extract to infuse the flavor.
  • Slowly incorporate the powdered sugar into the mixture with an electric mixer until a smooth dough is formed.
  • Roll the dough into small balls and flatten each ball to create thick, disc-shaped patties.

Setting

  • Place the tray of peppermint patties into the freezer for about an hour to firm up.

Chocolate Coating

  • Melt the chocolate almond bark in the microwave at 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Dip each peppermint patty into the melted chocolate and place them back onto parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle with colorful sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft for added visual appeal.

Storage

  • Store the peppermint patties in the refrigerator until serving time to maintain their firmness.
  • Serve them at festive gatherings or special occasions.
