  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Use smooth peanut butter for best results.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 2 cups powdered sugar Sift for a smoother texture.
  • 1/4 cup milk Adjust based on the desired consistency.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor depth.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances the flavor.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter and softened unsalted butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat until well combined, and the frosting is fluffy.
  • If the frosting is too thick, add more milk, a tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached. Conversely, if it’s too thin, add more powdered sugar.
  • Once the frosting is ready, use it to frost cakes or cupcakes using a spatula or piping bag.

Notes

Customize the frosting by adding cocoa powder for chocolate flavor, caramel for extra sweetness, or chopped nuts for texture. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
