  • 1 ounce ranch seasoning mix 1 packet
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce Adjust according to your spice preference
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced For garnish

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder Optional
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder Optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by placing the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into the bottom of your crockpot.
  • In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, buffalo wing sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder (if using). Stir until well mixed.
  • Pour the spicy ranch mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring that the chicken is well coated.
  • Cover the crockpot with its lid. Set it on low and let it cook for 6-8 hours. For a quicker version, set it to high for 3-4 hours.

Finishing Touches

  • Once the cooking time has elapsed, take two forks and shred the chicken right in the crockpot.
  • Cube the softened cream cheese and add it to the shredded chicken mixture. Stir until fully melted and incorporated.
  • Top it off with the shredded cheddar cheese and allow the lid to sit for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Don't overcook the chicken; ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Customize your spice level by adjusting buffalo sauce. Use quality ingredients for the best flavor.
