  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 1.5 pounds)
  • 1 ounce packet ranch dressing mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and ranch dressing mix until well blended.
  • Gradually add chicken broth to the cream cheese mixture, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour the ranch cream cheese mixture evenly over the seared chicken in the skillet, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Serving

  • Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
