Air Fryer Garlic Bread Sticks
These Air Fryer Garlic Bread Sticks are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and bursting with rich garlic and herb flavors, making them a delightful snack or side dish.
Ingredients
For the Garlic Butter Mixture
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for a more vibrant flavor.
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Or 1 tablespoon dried parsley.
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Bread
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread (about 12 inches)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Optional, for cheese lovers.
Instructions
Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Slice the Bread
- Using a serrated bread knife, slice the French or Italian bread into sticks, about 1 inch wide.
Spread the Garlic Butter
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over each slice of bread, coating both the cut side and edges.
- If adding mozzarella cheese, sprinkle it on top of the buttered bread.
Preheat the Air Fryer
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Air Fry the Bread Sticks
- Place the bread sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Check for Doneness
- After 8 minutes, check the bread sticks. If they aren’t crispy enough, continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve
- Carefully remove the garlic bread sticks from the air fryer and serve immediately. They pair perfectly with marinara sauce.
