  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, the egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Form the Crust

  • Line a baking sheet (or pizza stone) with parchment paper.
  • Transfer the chicken mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, using your hands to shape it into a round or rectangular pizza shape, roughly 1/2-inch thick.

Pre-bake the Crust

  • Place the shaped chicken crust in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crust is firm.

Add Sauce and Toppings

  • Remove the crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the top, leaving a little space around the edges.
  • Add your favorite toppings, such as pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, or olives. Finally, sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the toppings.

Finish Baking

  • Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve

  • Once cooked, remove the Chicken Crust Pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Slice into portions and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use rotisserie chicken and monitor baking times. Cool before serving for easier slicing.
