Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Optionally, place a wire rack on top.
  • Lay the thick cut bacon strips in a single layer on the rack or foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle with optional seasonings if desired.

Cooking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Start checking the bacon after 12 minutes to ensure it doesn’t get overcooked.
  • Once done, use tongs to transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate.
