  • 2 cups chicken Cooked and cut into pieces
  • 3 cups pasta Any type, penne or spaghetti recommended
  • 3 tbsp butter Can substitute with olive oil for a lighter option
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Use fresh lemon juice for better flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the chicken in a pan over medium heat until it’s fully cooked. Remove it from the pan and set it aside.
  • In the same pan, add butter and sauté the minced garlic until it is fragrant.

Combination

  • Toss the cooked pasta and chicken back into the pan with the garlic butter, stirring well to combine.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and mix everything together until coated.

Notes

Serve warm, topped with extra lemon zest or grated Parmesan cheese. Pair with a side salad or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat in a pan over low heat or microwave, adding a little water or butter if needed. You can customize the dish with shrimp or use whole grain pasta. For a creamier sauce, add heavy cream or a splash of white wine.
