Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get a nice, even bake.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, eggs, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian herbs. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Press the spaghetti mixture into a pie pan, forming a crust along the bottom and sides.
  • Pour the tomato sauce on top of the spaghetti crust, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown on top.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few moments, and serve hot.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the spaghetti; it should be slightly firm since it will cook further in the oven. For a crisper pie, you can pre-bake the spaghetti crust for 10 minutes before adding the sauce. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers to the spaghetti mix for added nutrition and flavor.
