  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups rolled oats

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy
  • Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well after each
  • Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture
  • Fold in rolled oats until evenly incorporated
  • Drop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheet
  • Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden
  • Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet, then transfer to wire rack
