  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Cook elbow macaroni until al dente; drain and set aside
  • In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour for 1 minute to form a roux
  • Gradually add milk, whisking until smooth and thickened
  • Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
  • Add cheddar, mozzarella, and feta cheeses until melted and creamy
  • Combine pasta with cheese sauce until well-coated
  • Transfer to a greased casserole dish; top with breadcrumbs if desired
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden
