Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef ribs
  • 1 cup halal-certified BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C)
  • Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat dry with paper towels
  • Combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper in a bowl
  • Rub the spice mix evenly on both sides of the ribs
  • Place ribs in a baking dish, bone side down
  • Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 150 minutes
  • Remove foil and brush BBQ sauce over the ribs
  • Return to oven uncovered and bake for 20 minutes
  • Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing
