Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp alcohol-free Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  • Add onion and garlic to the skillet; sauté until onions are translucent (2-3 minutes). Add mushrooms and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  • Stir in chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and alcohol-free Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the skillet. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until creamy. Simmer 5 minutes more.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve over noodles/rice with parsley.

Notes

Use fresh mushrooms for best flavor; avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure browning. For extra richness, serve with egg noodles or rice.
