Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas with melted butter. Add in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • Sprinkle the baking soda and salt into the mixture, then fold in the flour. Mix just until incorporated.
  • In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and brown sugar to create the swirl mixture.
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter.
  • Add the remaining batter on top and finish with the remaining cinnamon swirl mixture. Gently swirl the batter with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  • Place the pan in the oven and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture.
Gentle mixing yields a soft, tender crumb.
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
