Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  • Combine mashed bananas and melted butter in a large bowl, mixing until blended.
  • Add sugar and eggs, mixing until cohesive after each addition.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; gradually add to banana mixture, mixing just until combined.
  • Optional: Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
