Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, optional
  • Fresh basil, for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Brown meatballs in batches, 5-7 minutes per batch. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Pour marinara sauce into the skillet. Simmer covered for 10-15 minutes.
  • Portion spaghetti, top with meatballs and sauce. Add Parmesan and basil if desired.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, add fresh herbs like parsley or oregano to the meat mixture.
Rest meatballs 5 minutes post-cooking to improve juiciness.
Swap 50% beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
