Preparation

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth and well combined.
  • Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 10-15 seconds per side.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter to coat the surface.
  • Place the soaked bread slices onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and slightly crisp on the edges.
  • Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.
  • Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh berries, or powdered sugar.

Notes

Use slightly stale brioche for best results, and maintain a medium heat to prevent burning. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat using a toaster oven or skillet.
