Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Use melted butter for a denser, chewier texture.
  • 1 cup sugar You may substitute coconut sugar for a lower glycemic option.
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with whole wheat flour or almond flour.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate chips for extra richness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Stir until well blended and smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the batter is glossy and slightly thickened.
  • Sift in the flour and gently fold it into the batter using a spatula. Be careful not to overmix; just stir until no streaks of flour remain.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly with a spatula.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For the best chewy texture, do not overmix the batter and check for doneness a few minutes before the minimum baking time.
