  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In one bowl, mix the flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  • In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Place the chicken on a greased baking tray.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  • Mix hot sauce and honey in a bowl, then drizzle over the hot chicken before serving.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after baking to help the juices settle. For extra spice, you can add more cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce to the mix. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the oven to retain crunchiness.
