Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
  • Once done, fluff the rice with a fork, serve hot, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Ensure the chicken is fully submerged in the broth for the best flavor. You can use other types of rice, but cooking times may vary. For extra flavor, add some chopped vegetables, like carrots or bell peppers, to the slow cooker.
