  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter Can substitute with olive oil for a lighter version.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat with parmesan cheese.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add lemon juice to the skillet and stir to combine.
  • Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the garlic lemon butter sauce over them.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  • Serve hot with steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in lemon juice and garlic for a couple of hours before cooking. You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option. If you like it spicy, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce. Feel free to add vegetables like asparagus or broccoli to the baking dish for a complete meal.
