Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak (flank or sirloin) Choose a good cut for the best flavor.
  • 2 ears Corn Can use frozen corn, grilled until charred.
  • 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese Can substitute with feta or goat cheese.
  • 5 cups Mixed greens Use a blend of your favorite greens.
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic glaze Drizzle on top before serving.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For seasoning the steak.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste.

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season the steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  • Remove from the grill and let it rest.
  • While the steak rests, grill the corn until slightly charred.
  • Cut the steak into strips.

Assembly

  • In a large bowl, mix the greens, grilled corn, and gorgonzola.
  • Top with the sliced steak and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  • Serve immediately on a large platter or individual bowls.

Notes

For added flavor, garnish with extra gorgonzola and freshly cracked black pepper. Enjoy with a slice of crusty bread or a refreshing beverage. Best to store dressing separately until ready to eat.
