Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts or thighs (bone-in, skin-on preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil spray

Coating Mixture

  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, mix panko, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Lightly spray chicken with olive oil.
  • Press chicken into coating mixture until fully covered.
  • Place in air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Cook for 10 minutes. Flip, then cook another 8-10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover chicken in an airtight container in the fridge. It will stay fresh for up to three days. To reheat, place it in the air fryer for a few minutes until warm and crispy again. Adjust the seasoning based on your taste preferences, and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
