  • 1/4 cup lemon juice Fresh lemon juice preferred
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated Adjust according to preference
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic recommended
  • to taste none salt and pepper Season as per preference
  • as needed none olive oil for cooking For sautéing
  • as needed none pasta, salad or roasted vegetables For serving

Cooking Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • In the last few minutes of cooking, add the minced garlic and lemon juice to the skillet.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with Romano cheese.
  • Serve with pasta, a fresh salad, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

Let the chicken cool completely before storing leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove until heated thoroughly.
