Ingredients
  

For the coating

  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese Provides creamy texture
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Can also use Pecorino
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic for more freshness
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Feel free to adapt with fresh herbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste

For the chicken cutlets

  • 4 pieces Chicken Cutlets Thinly sliced chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Oil Olive or Cooking Oil for frying

Making the Cutlets

  • In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper together. This mixture will be your coating.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip each chicken cutlet into the cheese mixture, ensuring it is well coated.
  • Place the coated chicken cutlets in the hot skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once cooked, remove the cutlets from the skillet and let them drain on a paper towel.

Notes

Serve these cutlets hot with a side of veggies or a fresh salad. Great with a squeeze of lemon or your favorite dipping sauce. To store leftovers, place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
