Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure it is well softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Topping

  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce For topping before baking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, jalapeños, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  • Spread BBQ sauce on top of the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Bake for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, use pickled jalapeños or add a few dashes of hot sauce to the meat mixture. Store leftovers by cooling completely, then wrapping tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
