  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Rotisserie chicken works best
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust to your spice level
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Garnish (optional)

  • to taste chopped green onions
  • to taste crumbled blue cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Baking

  • Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions or crumbled blue cheese, if desired.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, celery sticks, or carrot sticks.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the dip cool completely, then transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until hot. For a twist, try adding cooked bacon or blue cheese crumbles directly into the dip.
