  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken You can use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing You can substitute with blue cheese dressing for a different flavor.
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust the amount based on your spice preference.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Reserve half for topping.
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional) This is optional but adds extra flavor.
  • to taste chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a Crock Pot, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted.
  • Before serving, top with the remaining cheddar cheese and blue cheese crumbles if desired.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips or celery sticks.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove until heated through. You can freeze it, but the texture may change once thawed.
