Ingredients
  

For the cake

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (approx. 15.25 oz or 3 cups dry mix) Use any brand of chocolate cake mix.
  • 3 large eggs Room temperature is best for mixing.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with other neutral oils.

For the cream cheese filling

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz) Ensure it is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Sift if necessary for a smoother mixture.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Use pure vanilla extract for better flavor.

For the assembly

  • 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed (10 oz) Use more for garnish if desired.
  • to taste Chocolate syrup for drizzling (optional) Add according to preference.
  • to taste Sprinkles for garnish (optional) Choose colorful sprinkles for visual appeal.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the chocolate cake mix instructions.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake according to package instructions. Once done, let it cool completely.

Filling Preparation

  • In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Assembly

  • Once the cake is cooled, slice it into thin rectangular sheets.
  • Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture over one piece of the cake, then sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top.
  • Roll the cake carefully, starting from one end, to create a sushi roll.
  • Repeat with the remaining cake sheets.
  • Once rolled, drizzle chocolate syrup on top and sprinkle with more Oreo crumbs or sprinkles if desired.
  • Slice the rolls into bite-sized pieces and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Serve chilled to enhance the creamy flavor.
