Cake Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (15-16 oz)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Peanut Butter Mixture

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk

Topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, egg, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  • In another bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Pour over the chocolate cake batter in the pan.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the mixture.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let it cool slightly and serve warm for a gooey texture.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce for extra indulgence. Store covered in the fridge for up to five days. Reheat slices in the microwave for a warm texture.
