  • 20-24 large large marshmallows Use large marshmallows for a gooier center.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour This is used for the batter.

Preparation and Frying

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot for frying.
  • On wooden skewers or lollipop sticks, thread marshmallows.
  • In a bowl, prepare the batter by mixing flour until smooth.
  • Dip the marshmallows in the batter until fully coated.
  • Carefully place the battered marshmallows in hot oil.
  • Fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve warm for a gooey treat!

Notes

For best results, make sure the oil is hot enough before frying and do not overcrowd the pot. Serve with chocolate sauce or powdered sugar for extra sweetness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
