Reese's Peanut Butter Cookies
Delicious soft and chewy cookies made with chocolate and peanut butter, full of Reese’s peanut butter cup chunks.
Ingredients
For the Cookie Dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure your butter is softened to room temperature for easy mixing.
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter You can use chunky peanut butter for a richer flavor.
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour Don’t overmix the dough after adding the flour; it should be just combined.
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt You can sprinkle some sea salt on top just before baking.
- 1 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, creamy peanut butter, and both sugars until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
These cookies can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature. They pair perfectly with a glass of cold milk or a warm cup of coffee. For an extra treat, consider serving them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for a delicious dessert. To keep your cookies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
