No-Bake German Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the cheesecake filling

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 8 oz German chocolate, melted Let it cool slightly before mixing to avoid clumps.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans Toast for extra flavor if desired.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  • Fold in the whipped cream, melted German chocolate, vanilla extract, coconut, and pecans.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Notes

Serve chilled, optionally topped with additional whipped cream or a sprinkle of coconut and pecans. Store covered in the fridge for up to five days or freeze slices for up to two months.
