No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake Lasagna

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs for the crust base
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted to bind the crust

Cheesecake Filling

  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened make sure it is at room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for sweetness
  • 2 cups whipped topping for a light texture

Strawberry Layers

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced fresh is best for flavor
  • 1 6 oz package strawberry jello for the fruity layer
  • 2 cups boiling water to dissolve the jello

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  • Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  • Layer half of the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  • In another bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water and let it cool slightly. Pour this mixture over the strawberry layer and refrigerate until set.
  • After the jello has set, spread the remaining cream cheese mixture on top and add the rest of the sliced strawberries.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For serving, cut into squares and plate nicely. You can add extra whipped topping or whole strawberries on top for decoration. Store leftovers in the refrigerator covered for about 3-4 days.
