  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for best mixing.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Do not overmix the batter after adding.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the Nutella, vanilla extract, and salt, and mix until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature, topped with whipped cream and extra Nutella. For storage, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days or freeze for up to three months.
