  • 12 pieces Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon Adjust to taste preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  • Cut the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on the cut sides.
  • Close the rolls and arrange them in a baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Optionally drizzle with icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or in the fridge for up to a week. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes.
