  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Thickening Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Used to thicken the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Pour this mixture over the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  • Once done, remove the chicken and keep it warm.
  • To thicken the sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir this into the slow cooker. Cook on high for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken topped with the sauce and garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

You can serve the chicken thighs over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles to soak up the delicious sauce. Feel free to add vegetables like carrots, bell peppers, or onions to the slow cooker for extra flavor. This dish can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator or frozen for up to 3 months.
