  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer, smooth-side down.
  • Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use chicken thighs of similar size. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for proper air circulation. Let the chicken rest after cooking for juicier results. You can also marinate the chicken overnight for enhanced flavor.
