Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the boneless chicken thighs dry with a paper towel, then season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, turning them to coat in the honey garlic sauce. Let simmer for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and glazed.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the honey, soy sauce, and garlic mixture for a few hours before cooking. Keep an eye on the garlic while cooking to prevent burning. For some heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
