  • 1 cup Heavy cream Alternatively, use half-and-half or a dairy-free substitute.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 cups Chicken broth Use low-sodium for a healthier option.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For cooking.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 cup Vegetables (optional, like peas or carrots) For extra nutrition and color.

Cooking

  • In a large pot or skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken chunks and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add rice and stir to combine.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the rice is cooked and has absorbed the liquid, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  • If desired, add cooked vegetables for extra flavor.
  • Serve warm and enjoy your comfort food!

Notes
