  • 1 pound ground turkey Use lean ground turkey for a healthier meal.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup zucchini, diced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until soft.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  • Stir in the bell pepper and zucchini. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes, oregano, and paprika. Mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve this ground turkey skillet over brown rice, quinoa, or inside a tortilla for a healthy wrap. It makes a great dinner or lunch option. Add your favorite vegetables for extra nutrition. For a creamier texture, stir in some Greek yogurt before serving.
