Preparation

  • In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Add the ground chicken to the pan, breaking it up with a spatula and cooking until browned.
  • In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken.
  • Stir to combine and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli while cooking the garlic and ginger. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
