  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  • In a bowl, mix ground chicken, sautéed onion and garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, breadcrumbs, egg, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small patties or meatballs.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, cook the patties over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure ground chicken is fully thawed if you’re using frozen meat. To keep the patties moist, do not overcook them. Feel free to add extra spices or herbs for more flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to a month.
